The Awards banquet is to advance academic excellence by identifying educators who contribute to creativity in teaching and learning, and provide recognition to those members of the educational community who have made exceptional contributions to our schools through their leadership and service.

The 7th Annual Beavercreek Education Foundation Excellence in Education Awards Banquet will be on Tuesday November 17, 2009.

Mission Statement

The Beavercreek Education Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1985 for the purpose of encouraging and enhancing academic achievement at all levels throughout the Beavercreek School System. The Foundation rewards accomplishments and effort displayed in the classroom by both teachers and students as well as providing funds to support academic programs and projects within the school system.

Foundation Accomplishments

Honor 8 teachers, 1 administrator, 1 classified employee, 1 volunteer, and 1 community advocate annually at the Excellence in Education Banquet for their significant contributions to the Beavercreek City Schools with their leadership and service.
Treat teachers to a delectable platter/treat during National Education week
Distribute $3,664.64 of grants to all eight schools plus the preschool
Administer named scholarship endowment funds to Beavercreek High School graduates. In spring of 2008 BEF awarded scholarships from endowments to 13 graduating seniors totaling nearly $8000.
Recognize elementary and middle schools students in May for exemplary classroom conduct, citizenship, and grade improvement by sponsoring ice cream parties.
